Learners
This is a comprehensive course of instruction covering all aspects of the syllabus recommended by the Driving Standards Agency.
The lessons take place in a modern, dual-controlled car and are structured to suit the needs and ability of the learner, making the training more enjoyable, easier and safer.
This course is suitable for both absolute beginners and those who have some driving experience. It is designed not only to teach the physical skills but to also encourage the development of favourable attitudes and sense of responsibility. This enables the learner to acquire the skills necessary to make a good, skilful and competent driver.
A thorough knowledge of driving theory and of the Highway Code is necessary to achieve the required goals. To this end the practical tuition takes place in tandem with the study and preparation for the Theory Test and the Hazard Perception Test. The learner is encouraged to study at home, between practical lessons, with training materials provided.
On completion of the course the new driver will not only be adequately prepared to take and pass the ‘L’ Test, but will also have the basic requirements to take more advanced driving courses.
